The truth is hurting
Reality is haunting
Promised love turns into hate
Tears from my eyes falling
My eyes deny facing reality
It is too horrible to witness
Fantasies fade into vanity
Dreams we were to witness
Reality is haunting
Promises turn into lies
Wild conscience vindicated
The ruined future; still the same
I am Physical Education and Creative Art Teacher who happens to write poetry. That's what I feel most of the time, I am writing poems maybe because it is therapeutic. Most of my inspiration comes from anything around me. I started writing seriously in 2013, but as far as I can remember my first poem was written in 2009 as part of exams and it was terrible, I should admit.
