Sealed Fate

Sealed Fate

written by: James Bell

When oft times fate comes to visit and feast as a ragged, cruel and hungry beast;

With its insatiable needs, devouring our fragile memories like hollow dreams and caring not in the least;

Fate, don’t give us yet another lost cause to resent, berate and hate;

Unjust, uncaring and unseen we
await our sealed fate and helplessly ruminate.
