Smelling Like Flowers

written by: Marta Compagnone

Despite the spring
darkness grows
to cast shadows
of fears
over our lives.

An indomitable Spirit
will never give up
in the face
of adversity.

The more
we resist
the faster
we might get out of it
smelling like flowers.
