Gray Skies

@seattlegray03

  1. Where, do you hail from?
Originally I am from a smallish town outside of Kansas City MO, but currently call Seattle home.
  1. What is the greatest thing about the place you call home?
The cloudy skies and rain. The climate of Seattle is incredibly soothing for me. I also spend a lot of time watching the tide, the pacific northwest has some beautifully rocky shores.
  1. What turns you on creatively?

The tide, strong emotion, people watching, taking long walks.

  1. What is your favorite word, and can you use it in a poetic sentence?
Serendipity.
I enjoy the idea that life is a series of happy accidents, a series of serendipitous happenings.
  1. What is your pet peeve?
When people refuse to try on another point of view. If you’re not open to new views and experiences, you’ll never grow.
  1. What defines Dani Gray/Gray Skies?

Beauty with a hint of decay. An indefinable need to explore the darker side of ordinary things, look deeper. Driven to fill empty pages.
