  1. Where, do you hail from?
Currently living a stone’s throw from the Atlantic Ocean at Quincy Bay, MA, and never more than a couple of hours drive or so from the mountains… A transplanted New Yorker who arrived here via Ohio and Northern California where I sewed a few wild oats for a spell.
  1. What is the greatest thing about the place you call home?

Some mornings when the wind is at its best, when stepping out the door, I can smell the sea and watch the shore birds fly to their fishing grounds in the salt marsh down the road.

  1. What turns you on creatively?

Reading other writers’ work; my smart and funny friends, mood dependent music; being outdoors.

  1. What is your favorite word, and can you use it in a poetic sentence?

dooryard

So many had tried to cross that dooryard, but her heart stayed stubbornly shut, blindly refusing the treasures those offerings were truly bringing.

  1. What is your pet peeve?

Duplicitous people who get away with it cause folks can’t always see what’s under the mask. Even at their peril. Also, people who chew loudly.

  1. What defines Jean M Beebe?

A romantic quester, ever active, always learning, seeing fellow travelers.
