  1. Where, do you hail from?
From the National Capital Region, India.
  1. What is the greatest thing about the place you call home?

Home is my ‘me’ space where we all live in harmony. Here there are no restrictions to my thought, my ideas, anything. I cook, eat, sleep, enjoy at will here. In short it is bliss.

  1. What turns you on creatively?

Anything and everything around. I have been a keen observer, reader, and writer from childhood. Thanks to my parents who engrained in me the values of life and to value life. They kind of drive me to find beauty in raw inspiration from small things around me. So one day it can be a flower, the next day it can be my cup of tea to make my creative juices flow.

  1. What is your favorite word, and can you use it in a poetic sentence?

LOVE

I look into your eyes
To see love in heaps,
Silken strings of love
Our hearts are made of,
As we hold our hands,
Even the pulsating veins understand
The love flowing in them,
Hour after hour, throbbing with passions same.

  1. What is your pet peeve?

Anything gaudy, loud, and garish puts me off. I am a simple person.

  1. What defines Madhumita Bhattacharjee?

A lifelong friend who will never leave you. A mom, daughter, wife, professional, writer/ poet, all combined together. She is a fun loving person who feels that today is the day, so live it well. She is an avid nature and animal lover too, her motto in life being to “Live & Love Life“.
