Spring Equinox

Spring Equinox

written by: Penny Rogers

The diaphanous dawn breaks slowly
colours catching on clouds
glinting on raindrops
bouncing on bees’ wings
dew-drop diamonds frame flowers
water shadows hide amphibians and invertebrates
as the sun rises transparency fades
colours dissemble
light loses fragility
