Summer Will Return

Summer Will Return

written by: Caroline Gauld

Autumn foliage begins to fall
Coulorful and crinkly amid the trees
Like sweetly wrappers
Swirling in the breeze

Winter is fast approaching
Over grey and restless seas
Foam laps the shore like bridal frill
Mist veils the distant hills

Lemon sharp sunshine
Squeezes light through the rain
A rainbow shows her spectrum
Brighter days will come.
