Don't let the tears that you've cried drown you,
Don't fight the rising tide.
Use your tears to lift you up, to raise you higher,
And to make more room inside.
Your sorrows and trials can strengthen your heart
If you only let them.
Instead of allowing things to make you sink,
Let them teach you to swim.
We are not clouds, which when spent of rain
Cease to exist
For good or ill, through it all
We can persist
