The Blue Hues of Existing

The Blue Hues of Existing

written by: Qeirnin

Sometimes I wonder-
If I was a canvas painting,
How would you paint me?

Would my skin have the same pale tint?
From the days spent-
Laying in bed rather than in the sun’s rays.

Would my eyes glow green?
Like the trees and – the leaves?
The ones that blow in the same wind-
that my heart bleeds in.

Would you keep my lips
The same shade or-
Would everything change?

Would I mirror a woman you once loved?
Would I bleed your desires?
And sing only the sounds
Of someone who exists-
Someone you miss.
