The Blue Hues of Existing
written by: Qeirnin
Sometimes I wonder-
If I was a canvas painting,
How would you paint me?
Would my skin have the same pale tint?
From the days spent-
Laying in bed rather than in the sun’s rays.
Would my eyes glow green?
Like the trees and – the leaves?
The ones that blow in the same wind-
that my heart bleeds in.
Would you keep my lips
The same shade or-
Would everything change?
Would I mirror a woman you once loved?
Would I bleed your desires?
And sing only the sounds
Of someone who exists-
Someone you miss.

Hi, my name is Qeirnin. I started writing when I was a little kid for fun and have grown to love it past what I had ever imagined. I just turned 18 and decided maybe I should try to publish some of my work. I've written countless poems and stories that have deep emotional connections to my life. I hope they can help someone, or people can find joy in my work.
