The Dead Zone

The cold, lingering air seeps through the rotting window panes into the warped dead zone. Once happiness was abundant here but illness has taken its toll. Once I was a strong warrior but now just a pawn in your confused game. I think I’ll whiskey myself into the inevitable end since you don’t care who ultimately wins.
