The Edge of Time

The Edge of Time

written by: Codename Morgan

O Traveller, sit down a while
The glimpse of old man,
He saw him smile.
Where to now?
Where have you been?
This path to you,
What does it mean?

I don’t know yet sir
I just walked & walked.
Through the windy dunes
Till my eyes were clogged.
But where to now,
That indeed I know.
To sow the dreams,
That I’ll cherish & grow.

Indeed young man
You’ll surely do
Your heart I see,
I’ve got faith in you.

It’s time O’ Sir,
I must depart
Even the Great Rome in time,
It fell apart.

Indeed young man
It’s all on time.
Destroys the Rome,
Scents aged wine.

He looked at place
Where sat the sage,
No sign of him,
There was no trace.
“Gracias O’ Sir”
That were his words,
He bid him well,
With a smile on face.
