The Eyes

The Eyes

written by: Maria Teresa Pratico-Swanson

The eyes are the windows to the soul
When I look out at the world, my heart is full of love’s purest intention
Hugging everything I see with my eyes
Tears well up from joy, not sadness
We are alive in the kingdom of God’s creation

Masterfully spinning with curiosity towards our destination
Life is a labyrinth of lessons and learning
Opening the heart while the soul is constantly integrating what it means to be human while expanding
Never do I tire from my innate connection to all the beauty my eyes take in

Focusing with both my outwardly seeing eyes and my inner third eye
Synchronicities are mirrored through magic
Enlightenment adds the color to every experienced journeyman’s art
The eyes paint pictures of blissful living
From inside the walls of soulful giving

My eyes see beyond the physical dimensions
Into hopeful dreams of unity and oneness comprehension
Rise and know
As humanity’s consciousness grows
Oh what the eyes can see
Endless possibilities for you and for me
