The mundane...

written by: Dr. MOLLY JOSEPH

Xmas waves
                   recede
life flows
                reverse
through
              routine
channels...

a lazy
         langour
keeps you
               in bed
till
       the morning's
soft caress
                   turns
piercingly hard...

Life,
     I marvel
at thy turns...

busied
          footsteps,
hurried
           farewells
dashing
             vehicles
rushing
             to office..

part of
          the mundane
left at home
             half done
half finished.

the toddler
          caught up
in  between
          whines..

concrete
           nested lives
wake up
            with a clutter
to ebb and flow
when
       morning
thickens....
