The Power to Undo

The Power to Undo

written by: Jane Bradshaw

Life can get lifey
Deeply profound I know
But is there a better way to describe it…

We all get stuck in our heads,
Meandering round and round
Focusing on the negatives

Feeling dark – gloomy skies
Shadows lurking, surrounding
Endless bills on the horizon

But when you gain control,
When you begin to focus
On all the little things

The small glimmers
That twinkle around us
Often missed in our busy lives

The friends who are always there
The people who notice you
The family that loves you

You can undo the damage
Banish the dark
Fight the negatives

We forget many things in life
But not kindness, like love
It stays with us always
