They Shall not grow old
others died so we could live

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
Illustration description: A grey, cloudy sky occupies the top two-thirds of the image. The bottom third is black, uneven terrain, dotted with small, simple red shapes intended as poppies amid white crosses. The words of the haiku are centered in the sky above in black Bickham Script Pro Regular font.

I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
