Those Castles in The Air

Those Castles in The Air

written by: Angela Huskisson

When storm clears
The sky splits into other worlds of
Chiaroscuro child-like ice-cream castles
Hanging in an air aflame with longing of dreams past.
To grow, to change, and just to be, another other different place.

When dark clouds frame in offer
For such a different life to now.
Step up, they speak
And grab your mercurial future
Burning in clear sight.

When there is so much more than on this Earth
And paradise awaits.
This other someplace else
That’s just for you…
As Joni Mitchell sings.
