THREE

THREE

I’m so much more than what I write
Some clever lines, some sly insight
To disguise madness in my mind
Impressions I want you to find
So what you see is part of three
The man you know, the mask, and me

Some metaphors thrown in the mix
A broken heart that I can’t fix
A tale of unrequited love
To somehow place me high above
Divert attention from the three
The man you know, the mask, and me

But truth be told it’s just a game
Some things I say to make a name
But that name isn’t even mine
It’s just another form of line
Another angle of the three
The man you know, the mask, and me
