Twitter bird, Twitter bird
Strong like an almond-
A blue diamond
In Twitter island.
A blueberry bush in the lea
Skilled and free
Singing in glee-
Twee, twee, twee.
To build her nest
She starts her quest.
South to East- North to West-
Everywhere she went
But never build a nest.
To appreciate the talent,
To know the world best-
A tiny omniscient.
I'm Monobina Nath, a poetess living in Kolkata, India. I'm an undergraduate student of English honours in Brahmananda Keshab Chandra College. I started my journey of poetry from my college days, and my poems published in anthology- "Chrysanthemum", newspaper- “The International Times”, “Meghalaya Times”, Indian Periodical. Magazines- Evepoetry, Setu Bilingual, TechTouch Talk, seven poems in Ode to a Poetess and various e-magazines. I got selected in National Bilingual Poetry Competition in 2021. I'm working on women's writings these days.
