Uniting On Common Ground

He’s not her cup of tea
but he speaks the truth to her,
she’s not the apple of his eye
but he listens to her words.
She points out his devilish attitude,
he addresses her actions as naïve,
neither willing to give up,
holding tight to their beliefs.
An unlikely match
uniting on common ground,
an Angel and a Devil
forming a strong bond,
somewhere between Heaven and Hell.
