The Search!

written by: Shruthi Shankel

I tiptoed
In the dark
Searching for something
I didn’t know
A chill stuck to my skin
Yet a warmth inside
The line of darkness collapsed
As a crack let the sunshine in
Amidst flowers & berries I stood
A garden, as beautiful one could imagine
The search did not exist in fact
For the very place I am, was my search!

I am a dreamer, a passionate writer, a simple girl who believes in living life to the fullest.
When the words come to me, fill me up to the brim, I write and let it out!
