Variety of Petals

Variety of Petals

written by: Thompson Emate

A variety of petals,
Different colours in the daylight,
My mother’s joy,
My mother’s pride.
Her nurturing hands tend to her garden,
Her diligent care makes it flourish.

My mother’s deep love for nature is an elixir of youthfulness.
She understands its language,
She seeks its mysteries,
She journeys to its depths,
And nature opens its door to her.
Her resilience is truly remarkable.

A variety of petals,
Faded colours in the daylight,
My mother smiles.
She says there’s life in every deadness,
A message in every fading glow,
And an awakening after every twilight.
