for you and for me?
Calendar pages
and stained memories
Snapshots of moments
of time mapped in lines
Wrinkles that crinkle
around mouths and eyes
Years filled with laughter
sadness and fears
Loves tender touches
regret and the tears
Struggles that test
resilience and strength
Pardon me, I digress…
The chapters may differ
the choices as well
Yet in spite of the losses
and no matter the gains
At the end of the road
all our lifetimes will count
