When I Think of You

When I Think of You

written by: Chukwuemeka Nwagu

When I think of You,
In realm of endless subconscious, I float,
devoid of those defiant worries of life,
At the confluence of beginning and the end,
where the souls form a unique whole,
together glue our spirits there, lost!
Each time I think of You.

When I think of You,
the search through; around You,
Even far behind, and the years of future,
clothed in obscure promises,
Nothing else exists; but You. Just this gorgeous art.
feels like the assemblage of ghosts; such metaphysical realm;
boundaries are only illusions, that fizzle with the wind.
Each time I think of You.

When I think of You,
in glowing crystal rays, flows a steady passion.
An mysterious fusion of body, spirit and soul,
and hearts cuddled in frantic fondness,
in such firm grip and never let go for the best price even.
Such sweet sensation of warmth in a bosom,
all for You, only for You,
each time I think of You.

When I think of You,
It is the volcano at ripe eruption;
the force! the sound!
the molten magma,
on whole free blast and spree.
An overpowering compelling vigour,
of a yearning soul,
across the hot desert
and over the deep blue sea.
But let the desert separate
and let the sea demarcate,
distance lose its value,
each time I think of You.

When I think of You,
I see you clearly and feel hurt, in cold tranquil sphere.
pains within; of deprivity.
Pains wrought of passion and fond.
Pains of love so warm and alluring.
The happiest of men, in awesome trance dwell,
and in high cloud of ecstasy glide,
like swings of the pendulum,
each time I think of You.
