Wrecked

Wrecked

written by: Berly Faith Estrella

an enchanting beauty
highlighted with imperfections,
once a devastating shipwreck
now a sight to behold,
a captivating scenery
for those who can see beauty
in the middle of a tragedy,
a wonder built
out of all the scars and downfalls
of a war of bygone days,
of memories forgotten
that wouldn’t be read
even in history books,
buried and submerged
in the depths of the ocean
filled with the unknown
and uncertainties,
of love untold
and reasons
that are difficult to comprehend,
of forgotten memories
of battled miseries
of forsaken land
and broken hearts
