The Feeling of You

written by: Alyssa Brocker

@Atelgy

beautiful.
blue eyes.
blonde hair.
legs.
i can't even think in
full sentences,
when I look at my
infatuation.
dangerous.
tiptoeing on a line,
that if I cross I'll

[drown]

i need to avert my gaze.
at my own girlfriend.
she's looking,
smiling,
winking...
is it wrong that I
feel nothing?
she's safe.
she's...
insurance.
i look back at
brandon.
no one in this backwoods town
would ever accept me for...
NO
i'm not that.
i could never be
////that/////////
"boys don't like other boys.”

right?
