Dear Steven

Dear Steven

written by: Matthew Roy Davey

You must burn this as soon as you finish reading. It would be better for you, if nothing else. Do not read twice. Remember my words and remember my love. My family must never know. What we did was wrong, Steven. I said it and we did it and you told me I was wrong. But it was not right. I have been shown the light. They have told me where I must go and what I must do to wash clean my soul. And so I must. People will say that what I do is wrong. But they are unbelievers. Just as you are, Steven. Turn to the light. It is not too late. There is still time. But time is short. What we did was wrong. It is wrong. You will soon read of me. If all that passed between us means anything, then I beg you, burn this paper. As I shall surely burn.
