Hostile Honesty

Hostile Honesty

written by: JC

You come to me full of hostility,
spitting your venomous words.

Claiming to be honest,
just a straightforward kinda person.

But you don’t realise,

through your hostile honesty
you break down my person.

Through your harsh words,
you hush mine.

With every righteous confrontation
you make me small.

You pass your judgment
and give your verdict.

And assume that I shall follow.
And follow I do.
