Decorate the Universe

Decorate the Universe

written by: Alan David Gould

Mere happenstance is not by chance
Real love has something of sustain
Proclaiming large is seldom huge
(It’s prehistoric in a sense)
Though Brontos may have lived in Bruge
they did not speak plain French

What’s special is not more than truth
and truth is artifact
Each day is all about the sum
one gets from beating on the drum
of circumstance, with tact

What will you do, who will you be?
Will you go farther than the rest?
The answer lies in humble pie
where truth must enter, lest it fly
to other worthy nests

So muster up your reimburse
and fill your dance card until time
to elevate ascending rhyme
and decorate the universe
