The Last Frame

The Last Frame

written by: Alan David Gould

Scene by scene
Freeze frames in the camera shutter of history
populating the carousel of your life.
From birth to demise
The colors of moments in time
reflected like the subtle hues of a prism

Struggling to propagate yourself to the world
Leaving your inspiration wrapped in the cocoon of your digital progeny
until the last frame oscillates to nil

Did you manage to touch the corners of that residual group of living minds?
Entirely forgotten in the eyes of your great grandchildren
who now inhabit the earth
when, coping with their convoluted lives,
they uncover you by accident
60 years from now
