  1. Where, do you hail from?

I hail from Nairobi, Kenya.

  1. What is the greatest thing about the place you call home?

There are a number of “greatest” things about the place I currently live:

Mangoes… Which I love. Different varieties. My favorite is one called the apple mango. When in season I don’t care for anything else.

Baby elephants. Terribly cute, although you have to go to national parks, conservancies and the like to see them.

Brilliant light blue skies and sunshine most of the year round…iced Cappuccinos on sunny afternoons.

Being able to see a blanket of shiny stars at night. It is quite beautiful.

Leather sandals we call Maasai sandals that come in a variety of styles, designs with intricate bead work in each hand-made pair.

  1. What turns you on creatively?

I used to fantasize a lot about alternative worlds ever since I could remember. I used to think as a little girl that our kitchen came to life much like things do in the enchanted castle in Sleeping Beauty.  I did try to sneak in,  but I never caught any action. It is quite possible, I was too noisy and gave myself away ☺ so the kitchen kingdom, hid their true identity from me.

Having an overactive imagination is quite possibly what makes me write. Although they say stories and in that I will include poetry choose their
author.

I always have a pen and a journal with me. Or take notes on my mobile phone. I post all my poetry from my cell phone. This interview is via cell phone too ☺.

I was always buried in all sorts of books as a child…action, fantasy, romance, thrillers you name it. My favourite genre is fantasy. Lately I have quite a penchant for steam punk. I watched all manner of movies/cinema; music and lived on a healthy diet of comic books and cartoons.

  1. What is your favorite word, and can you use it in a poetic sentence?

I don’t have a favourite word.

  1. What is your pet peeve?

One of my pet peeves is dishonesty and any variation of that word. Lies. Deceit. Omissions. Cover-ups.

  1. What defines ErosVerse?

Freedom and a personal awakening define Honey Pot. A journey of explorations and hopefully, an endless myriad of revelations. On a path of
self discovery, she explores the essence of beauty, the essence of her own femininity. Her angers, her wants, her needs, her curiosities, her
disappointments, possibly some secrets. Accepting she is imaginative and inviting new things into her life.
