A Star on Our Forehead

A Star on Our Forehead

written by: Cindy Georgakas

I walk amongst the stars and reach up
to catch one that lands in my hair.

Grateful, I bring it to my heart to light a path of forgiveness
for all the grief created, by those that never knew or cared

that stars are born in heaven not fame nor power or fortune.
This isn’t cinematography where you can change the fate you created.

When stars collide and ignite in destruction, may one land on their
forehead to awaken the power of illusion of ego mania narcissists

and drop their arms made for hugging and
wake up and end the war.

We must shine our light and remember that light will shine in darkness
long after the light goes out as a blessing to the human race.
