Minute Of Sorrow

Minute of Sorrow

Cazeal of light,
We must turn and take flight.

Dreams now cling to our shadows,
Nipping at the strings of thine bow.

The time to weep – to mourn,
Must be set aside.

For if we are to succeed this night,
Abscond with me into hasty flight.

Loves tears stain the ground,
Scarring a heart seldom found.

A minute for sorrow has passed,
I promise of revenge so seldom asked,

dear old friend…
your tears are a dream that shall never end.
