Mephisto

Mephisto is knocking at my door, speaking to me in colors
Trying to steal my soul. Black magic is what he uses
So he can take control. He doesn’t understand the Iroqouis
Orenda, never give it up, it’s mine alone. I am standing at
The top of the chain and he is slithering at the bottom. His spirit
Will never prevail for I am Boudicca, queen of the common.
His flames dance before my eyes while my volcanic anger explodes
Like Pyroclastic tides. All I can do is laugh while his black magic
Subsides. Standing in his ruins, destroyed by my might he
Disappears atomically into the night.
