Xmas Wish

Xmas Wish

written by: Pranab Ghosh

Carols in churches of the city
People thronging fair grounds

Pullovers, jackets, sweaters adding
Color to the dresses beneath

People making merry withstanding
The winter chill and remembering

A baby born in Bethlehem
Centuries ago, in a cowshed

And the wise men of the world
Travelling miles to meet the
SAVIOR OF MANKIND

As trains roll to their destinies,
Luxury ships cruise, buses
Take holidayers to the resort

Of their choice and people
Take a break from the
Mundane daily existence

We wait for another
SAVIOR!
