With a chance of thunderstorms

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
Illustration description – A black raincloud appears to be raining both vertical downpour of grey and books of white. Everything is rendered as though paper cutouts – no shadows, the rain falling in strips on a lighter grey background.
I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
