i say goodbye to you again
you and your steel angel
two days
two weeks
two years
knowing a greater expectation
is asked by all below
you never minded the call
their heeding, their needing
you and your steel angel
return to the sky
valiantly circling from above
watching over my honored heart
and says goodbye again
Kellasandra Ferrara is a former restaurateur and baker who's been jotting down recipes, lyrics & musings forever but finally decided to subject herself onto an unwilling audience. The current offerings of Poetry are mostly Heartbreak and Lost Love called Time Spent Under My Broken Umbrella available on Amazon, and the second book called Time Spent Under My Broken Sky is a Short Stories of a Supernatural Mystery, a Crime Thriller and a Re-imagined Fairy Tale, coming in Autumn 2024.
