A Gentle Shh

Jane hails from the distant shores of Darwin, in the Northern Territory of Australia. She has lived there all her life and has raised three young Adults. After 7 years as a Loans Officer and 6 years as a Rates Officer Jane found herself at university, studying to be a Primary School Teacher. Now in her sixteenth year of teaching, she has taken on the challenge of being the Student Wellbeing and Inclusion Teacher for early childhood at her school. Jane has been a part of a poetry writing group for over four years and a short story writing group for over three years. Her passion for writing began in high school, and she continues to write because it is a deep intrinsic part of who she is. She has been published in four Anthologies, on a few writing platforms and one day she hopes to have her own collection of poems and a novella published.
