A Prayer for Peace…

Whatever justifications are made to assuage,
The war will always end in brutal carnage,
Leaving many families bereft,
Pining for those who left,
Many are forced to defend the lives of themselves and loved ones,
Shedding tears while sharing their farewell hugs,
A few may consider that battles will leave a legacy,
Nothing is permanent in this world and that’s the irony,
Anger, pride and hate can fog intelligent minds,
Messing up issues that can be resolved through patience and careful dialogues,
‘Man’kind scaled up conflicts to build their stature,
The question is are we really doing justice to this beautiful planet’s future?
