A Twinkle in Her Eyes

A Twinkle in Her Eyes

written by: JahArt Kushite

i saw a twinkle
in her eyes
tellin’ me no more
goodbyes

our lonely souls
whispered in
silence
for a moment
everythin’
made sense

she aligned her
eyes into mine
we slowly soaked
into each other’s
soul like wine

intoxicated i
floundered
and found my
way home
~we made
love
