All About Xmas

All About Xmas

written by: Jim Bellamy

I’d like to be the sort of christmas friend that will give everybody xmas bells.
I’d like to be the sort of santa friend that will hand everybody xmas trees.
I’d like to forever mean all so much to all hollies and berries and xmas spells.
As you have meant to me as much as xmas means to you
I’d like to ensnow all miraculous father times with keen gifts for reindeer children.

I’d like to use the best days of our lives for celebrating; and the splendid dreams we use
Come happily sharing sweet trays and creamy turkey mash.
I’d like to play all those lively xmas games: I’d like to say kind things to elves and triffle sherry.
O! and I feel somehow using the jesus cup for toasting every single wonder at Jesus Time:
And you shall dance for me as I will dance for you?

I’d like to give a keen hand to an ingenious panto show; and I will shout for Twanky.
I should like you to understand that as roasties roast like heaven, me and sweet Aladdin
Will come caressing xmas tinsels and baubles and mistleoes hung high all crackered times.
And I am endlessly hoping for a keen mean new year’s eve
And I am endlessly singing for famous boys and famous girls and a happening Yueltide.
I hope we will never be lost for I’d like to make you feel and feel
Just how much I love you and I’d like to live for xmas ever and ever.

I’d like to make you feel as clever as the xmas best: I’d like to make you rich for life.
And, oh, when once eaters for festive thankyous spin plates round christmas puds, lights
May well inform the darkest powers to sunder and give to fairy nights and xmas rites.
And I shall lean upon you and I shall wish for now and forever that jesus times will bite
Deeply down on a cherry prayer;
And I shall lead you to Man and I shall wisen for you the utmost xmas without tears.

I’m wishing at this Christmas time that I could but sing praise for the best of all times,
Keen clapping for presents and the forever deifying winters that rage for all good times.
I should like to wish you a very merry christmas
I should love to kiss the xmas plum pud and festive party-cake-table.
And could I have one wish that our now irreligious jesus times will come whooping for
The greatest times we always want to heed
I’d like to be the best sort of friend that you have had and have ever been for me

ETERNALLY

Happy Christmas everybody!
