Remembering, a poem by Maria Evelyn Quilla Soleta at Spillwords.com

Remembering

Remembering

written by: Maria Evelyn Quilla Soleta

Upon remembering
I would either laugh or cry
At those precious memories
We have spent in so short a time.

Upon remembering
Echoes of the past do not die
But so languidly linger in the hearts
Of yours
And mine.

Upon remembering
Old, faithful Time does not lie
But so very warmly greets to say
“Come, it was so beautiful… rewind.”

Upon remembering
I maybe away a thousand miles
Yet these thoughts run from here to there
Cradling soothingly to your lullabies.

Oh, yes, upon remembering!
