An Epistle To Jesslyn

An Epistle To Jesslyn

written by: Dacious Kasoka

Dearest wife Jesslyn, how
I write to you in metaphors
and oxymorons, scrawls
wreathed in poetry.

Behold, I recall the night
when sulky gloam flared
in amber.

When we sailed on the
corridors of love, and
the threads of winds
whispered in nightingales
effigy.

O’ Jesslyn companion of
my heart, cruise back with
me to the cocoons of passion.

Your darling,
Dacious.
