I ask Andrea.

she groans.

disappointment

“How did the voices treat you
in my absence?”
I should tell her.
She’s not happy.
I’m not happy.
Maybe this time,
I won’t be so stupid.
I should tell her.

Took me to the brink of
creative brilliance
then distracted me
with suicidal tendencies.”
I’m not going to tell her.
(Again.)
“What do you want to do tonight?”
Andrea smiles.
