African Woman

African Woman

written by: Ndilika Oluebube

African woman!
Mother earth’s precious gift
Creator of mankind
Nature’s source of joy.

Embodiment of beauty
Definition of essence
Nature’s pride
Thou art adored!

Her eyes dazzling with flames of desire
Her beads sign of royalty
Her skin shows off nature’s wonders
Beautiful to the fault.

She’s a strategic warrior
MOREMI of Ife!
AMINA of Zaria!
AMANIRENAS of Kush!

Holy Creature!
Nature’s mirror
Conqueror!
Too perfect to be human.
