April in Paris

April in Paris

written by: Tony Covatta

“France? Never. Those people are too snotty.”

Nick and Nora would go alone again. No matter. Not everyone dislikes the haughty Frenchies. Nick always remembered their first trip to Paris.

While Nora browsed, Nick sipped espresso from china cup and saucer in a nearby coffee bar. The stylish fellow perching next to him, trim in well-tailored slacks and jacket, ordered coffee, took a package of chocolate from his pocket, slipped a piece into his coffee.

Noticing Nick’s smile, he silently offered Nick some. Nick declined, but could never think badly of the French again.
