Behind a Golden and Mauve Frame

written by: Rohma Safi

I don’t gloom when I want to see you,
but a cruel long distance between me and you
I just ascend to the roof
and I found there your chiselled feature in the moon
I swear it’s true
I saw a dream last night
and that was about you
we were standing behind a golden and mauve picture frame
I dressed out, and you were looking descent when you came
you were holding me in your arm
and looking at me amorously
many butterflies fluttering around us
and we were enjoying these closeups
all of these were picturesque
I just love that
