Beyond the Border Line

Beyond the Border Line

written by: Ratan Ghosh

Beyond the Border Line
No line
No line
No line I wish to see again
I know the pain
While my home was dragged and slain

In every corner of hills and plains
Thousand fears drowned us in a dead jail
Thousand words sank in the air not to come back again
Thousand sighs sank in the flying dust of rivers and plain
Thousand lines of our farmhouse disappeared in pain
Thousand bundles of corn no more love and kiss my stress and strains
The music of my life paused suddenly while there left no grain

The hungry volcano erupted like the giant Narakasura
It threw away all
It threw away all
beyond the boundary line
far beyond Maa Padma and Feni
burying the spirit of my homeland…
