Blood Spell

Jayson Dela Fuente is a Filipino educator, poet, and writer. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) specializing in general science while exploring the field beyond his niche—poetry. The latter is multi-awarded internationally in poetry by different prestigious literary organizations. His poems have been featured in different literary journals and magazines like Mnerva, Elephant, Hanbit, and The Wise Owl. In his spare time, he fell in love with writing poems, haiku, and sijo in his humble nipa hut in the nostalgic scenery of sugarcane and cogon grass in the sounds of the melody of Maya birds, goats, cows, carabaos, and horses in the countryside.
